Aidmatrix Network Connects Donated Water from CannedWater4Kids to Second Harvest Japan via UPS Foundation

Milwaukee, WI - April 26, 2011 - The Aidmatrix Foundation Inc. today announced another donated product shipment was sent to Second Harvest Japan free of charge, to aid their earthquake and tsunami relief, by the UPS Foundation. CannedWater4Kids donated a truckload (52,800 12-ounce cans) of drinking water to support the Japanese relief effort via the Aidmatrix Network. Second Harvest Japan accepted the donation and The UPS Foundation donated the shipment of the products to Japan.

"Japan's recent earthquake and related events has caused many life staples to be gone or in short supply. We wanted to do our part to make sure the children of Japan had access to much needed clean water", said CannedWater4Kids founder and CEO, Greg Stromberg.

More than $1.3 million of in-kind donations to Japan earthquake and tsunami relief have moved through the Aidmatrix Network. Organizations such as Second Harvest Japan (and their 14 warehouses), the BHN Association, Hands on Tokyo, multiple NetHope members and others have access to these generous donations.

Aidmatrix CEO and former Wisconsin Governor Scott McCallum stated "this completed donation is a perfect example of the power of the Aidmatrix Network. Donors, nonprofits and transportation providers are connected online to get the products when and where they are needed most. We are honoured to work with The UPS Foundation and grateful to CannedWater4Kids for their generous donation of water and to UPS for their donation of free shipping".
