Dallas, TX - December 20, 2010 - The Aidmatrix Foundation today announced its partnership with SmartPacket IP, a US-based telecommunications and data networking lifecycle management consulting provider. SmartPacket IP is working with Aidmatrix to establish a gifts-in-kind donations website through which its clients can easily donate high-quality surplus goods to charities, as a way to further encourage philanthropy within its community and reduce waste. In addition, SmartPacket IP has agreed to donate its consulting services to help nonprofits evaluate and negotiate affordable and secure telecommunications packages - thus reducing a nonprofits overall expenses. The consulting services will first be made available to Texas nonprofits through NPower Texas' Stable and Secure Assessment Service.

The Aidmatrix Network™ In-Kind Donations Management Module, an online application that helps manage in-kind product donations, will be used by SmartPacket IP to enable their clients and partners to offer a wide variety of surplus products to nonprofit organizations around the world. Without this technology, many of these clients could be faced with the time-consuming task of identifying a nonprofit organization that is able to receive the donated products when they become available. Without the easy ability to connect to the nonprofit community, companies which need to make way for new inventory often discard the merchandise rather than donate it.
