Rhode Island Launches Campaign for Flood Relief
Rhode Island Flood ReliefRhode Island has experienced a flood of historic proportions, and they are working hard to provide assistance to all Rhode Islanders who are coping with the heartbreaking aftermath. On March 29, President Obama issued the State a Major Disaster Declaration. The state website for cash and in-kind donations is currently accepting donations to aid in the disaster relief for the recent flooding throughout the State of Rhode Island. Financial donations enable relief organizations to purchase the items that are needed to assist more efficiently in response and recovery efforts. Rhode Island is a member of the National Donations Management Network, powered by the Aidmatrix Network®.

This web-based tool enables State and National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), State government and FEMA to communicate inkind and monetary needs and connect them with offers made by the general public."
