AT&T Extends Grant to Aidmatrix for Haitian Earthquake Relief

DALLAS, TX - January 22, 2010 - AT&T* (NYSE:T) announced it is providing a $50,000 donation to The Aidmatrix Foundation to support Aidmatrix's important relief work in response to the Haitian Earthquake and in other disasters around the globe.
 

The Aidmatrix Foundation, Inc. (http://www.aidmatrix.org/) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA, with offices in Germany and India, and relief programs around the world. Aidmatrix has developed highly efficient programs that enable other nonprofit organizations, governments and businesses to coordinate relief efforts and share resources.  Leaders from across the government, business and nonprofit sectors are activating on the Aidmatrix Network® to coordinate relief efforts for the Haitian Earthquake Relief, including Project HOPE. This AT&T contribution will help fund more NGOs to gain access to the donations management tools available on the Aidmatrix Network® and therefore expand the amount of humanitarian aid being delivered to Haiti.

 

CARE, ISTAT's (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) Airlink program, ALAN (American Logistics Aid Network), MedShare, Adventist Community Services (ACS), Mission Outreach, Powered by ACTION, the State of Florida, the Government of Puerto Rico's Departamento de la Familia and more have activated their portals or joined other installations on the Aidmatrix Network® in order to post needs, accept donation offers, and match them to help those in the region impacted by this devastating earthquake.
