Aidmatrix Partners with AT&T* Foundation to grow humanitarian relief Central and Eastern Europe
The Aidmatrix Foundation received a $50,000 contribution from AT&T* to help Aidmatrix expand humanitarian relief in Central and Eastern Europe. AT&T joins Aidmatrix and the organization's government, NGO as well as corporate partners to expand work in deploying The Aidmatrix Network™ to Central and Eastern Europe. A build-out of the use and adoption of the Aidmatrix technology will provide countries in Central and Eastern Europe, beginning with programs in Romania and Slovakia, with access to an organizational infrastructure to get donated products and supplies into the hands of those who are in greatest need, particularly following natural disasters. "We applaud Aidmatrix for their work advancing technology in areas with the greatest need by working with organizations that make a proven impact," said Eric Loeb, AT&T Vice President of International External and Regulatory Affairs. "We are pleased to help fund efforts that advance humanitarian efforts around the world."
*AT&T products and services are provided or offered by subsidiaries and affiliates of AT&T Inc. under the AT&T brand and not by AT&T Inc. |

27 European Countries Respond to Aidmatrix Disaster Relief Surveys
More than 50 disaster relief professionals representing 27 European countries contributed facts, figures, and frank commentary on the current state of disaster relief preparedness and delivery in their countries. Inventory visibility, training, technology and communiation were some of the topics we looked at. We found that tax incentives and long-haul transportation are issues that countries and their relief organizations find particulary challenging. Aidmatrix' goal with this survey is to understand the special needs of governmental disaster relief and to provide a platform for information exchange.

Aidmatrix Helps Communities Prepare for Disaster Seasons
-By Gov. Scott McCallum-
Aidmatrix President and CEO Gov. Scott McCallum recently had a headline article published on BCPNews.com, a Business Continuity Industry News website, about disaster relief provided by Aidmatrix and the National Donations Management Network:
Summer evokes fantasies of weekends at the beach, vacations with the family and the sun shining brightly through the office window. But for many people around the world, summer brings about images that are far less pleasant: the start of Hurricane Season. Everyone knows what happened to New Orleans in 2005, but what about in 2008? The destruction may not have been as massive or as publicized, but the effect the storm had on several communities was devastating. The state of Louisiana wanted to be better prepared for the hurricane season of 2008, so they joined the National Donations Management Network (NDMN).
