Aidmatrix Technology Benefits Back-To-School Drives
Aidmatrix is helping Food Banks and other nonprofits across the country generate donations for their back-to-school drives through our customizable Virtual Aid Drives®. The Kansas Food Bank took advantage of specialty customizations by Aidmatrix on their Food 4 Kids Virtual Aid Drive that will provide 5,000 of the state's hungriest children with packs of food to feed them through the weekend. "We found that designing this from scratch would have cost thousands of dollars, but instead, Aidmatrix provided low-cost customization of its turn-key Virtual Food Drive. This let us save money for our mission while also providing a quick turnaround on an innovative new way to engage donors," proclaimed Polly Basore, Development Director & Community Relations for the Kansas Food Bank. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth are currently utilizing the Aidmatrix In-Kind Donations Management Module to receive donations for their 'Giving Express' back-to-school drive. Feeding America Hunger Action Month 2009: Give a Little, Feed a Lot
One in eight Americans is struggling with hunger. People in need include a mother who is balancing work and school as she tries to support her children. A retired postal worker trying to pay for increasing medical bills, rent and food on a fixed income. A father who has spent all of his savings looking for new employment since he lost his middle-income job almost a year ago. Hunger Action Month pays tribute to these people by shedding the light on a national problem that often goes unnoticed. Hunger will take center stage throughout the month of September as Feeding America and its partners encourage Americans to "Give a Little, Feed a Lot."
A $1 donation is enough to provide three meals to an American in need. One note to your congressperson is enough to pass the bills that will in turn support Child Nutrition Programs and The Emergency Food Assistance Program. Just an hour of your time can be invested in helping serve warm food at your local soup kitchen or pack food into parcels at an area food pantry. All these small efforts from individuals across the country will go a long way to helping those in need during Hunger Action Month and beyond. Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief charity, is proud to join together with its member food banks and national partners, such as Aidmatrix, as we combat hunger in America.

Aidmatrix CEO and President to Participate in the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting
Aidmatrix President and CEO Governor Scott McCallum has an exciting opportunity to participate in the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting this month. The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) "reflects the former President's belief that governments need collaboration from the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and other global leaders to effectively confront the world's most pressing problems. This year's program will focus largely on how corporations can not only stay engaged in addressing global challenges in which this economic climate, but can leverage these unique capabilities to grow their business. Specifically, we will explore how organizations can utilize their core strengths in Innovation, Finance, Infrastructure, and Human Capital to address long-standing and emerging global challenges like climate change, global health, poverty alleviation, and education and in the process uncover new business streams. This new approach to our traditional action areas is a natural fit for an organization like Aidmatrix, which attempts to leverage business capabilities for disaster relief."
