Hunger Relief Success in St. Louis and New Mexico
The St. Louis Area Foodbank and the Road Runner Food Bank in New Mexico recently implemented the latest AgencyExpress™ 3.0 into their hunger-relief efforts. AgencyExpress™ is a hunger-relief program that uses an online-shopping network to enable food banks associated with Feeding America to list food their inventories online. This system provides hunger-relief agencies the opportunity to view and order food from their food banks in a simple and efficient manner. This means more time freed up for staff to work on higher value tasks and more time feeding hungry Americans faster than ever before. Tim Donovan, from the St. Louis Area Foodbank stated, "We have added AgencyExpress™ to our network, and our entire operation has been simplified. Our 400+ member agencies now have access to a larger supply of food, helping them provide more aid to people in need."
