Aidmatrix Wins Supply Chain Distinction Award
Munich, Germany -- June 11, 2009 -- The Aidmatrix Foundation, a non-profit organization specialized in supply chain solutions for humanitarian relief, has won the Supply Chain Distinction Award 2009 in the category Best Supply Chain Solutions Provider. Shari Temple, Managing Director, Aidmatrix Europe, accepted the award this week from the World Trade Group at the European Supply Chain and Logistics Summit 2009 awards dinner in Düsseldorf.
 
Fahim Afghan, Senior Analyst, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Industries at World Trade Group commented: "It is great to have organizations such as Aidmatrix entering these awards because it puts people's focus on supply chain initiatives that present genuine business excellence and supply chain performance in difficult situations where it really matters. Aidmatrix was among four finalists for the "Best Value Chain / Supply Chain Solutions Provider" category which included: Integration Point, One Network, and Next Level Purchasing. In addition, Aidmatrix was a finalist in a second category for "Supply Chain Innovation Award" along with Proctor & Gamble, Belron and British Telecom.
