Swine Flu Pandemic Preparations and Relief Underway
Aidmatrix is taking the necessary steps to prepare for the pandemic relief that is increasing in impact. Our partners are also responding, and we are coordinating our efforts to support them in their on-the-ground relief. For example, the National Association of Free Clinics has a network of clinics that are working in local communities across the US to care for patients not in the ER. The clinics remain ready to assist patients in their state in the event of an outbreak. Donate in-kind products/services and see the current needs.

Hunger Relief Boosted in Minnesota
Second Harvest Heartland, a food bank in St. Paul, Minnesota, went live on Aidmatrix's AgencyExpress 3.0. AgencyExpress is a secure, online shopping site that allows food bank network members to make their inventory visible to their agencies while also allowing them to easily place orders online. Matthew Steiner, IT Director for Second Harvest Heartland, stated, "The system has a user-friendly interface, provides good information, and allows us to customize fields so that we can push product through, which empowers the agencies in the end. We look forward to getting all our agencies ordering online." If you are interested in learning more about AgencyExpress or using the system for your food bank, please email info@aidmatrix.org. |
