NATO Signs Agreement to Use Aidmatrix Network® for Disaster Relief
NATO EADRCC and the Aidmatrix Foundation announced their agreement to set up a partnership to help NATO EADRCC meet the challenge of managing donations in civil disaster scenarios. The agreement is with EADRCC (Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre), NATO's principal civil crisis response mechanism, which coordinates assistance in the Euro-Atlantic area from NATO Allies and Partners to countries that have been struck by a major disaster.

Hurricane Relief Donations Directly Benefit Relief Agencies: $20 Million in In-Kind Donations Processed
To date, more than $20 million in in-kind donations have been offered through the Aidmatrix Network and made available to the disaster relief agencies working with the hurricane-affected States.

The recent news coverage about Hurricane Gustav & Ike Relief may have caused some confusion about Aidmatrix's role in the relief process. Aidmatrix's role is to provide the technology and partnerships that connect donors with relief organizations. During a disaster, donations should first be made to the relief organizations and you can use the links below to do that. These links go to each State's website which then utilizes the Aidmatrix Network to provide the forms to capture and process the in-kind donations online.

Financial donations are referred directly to the Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) which then process the financial donations. In regard to in-kind offers, once the donation is in the Aidmatrix Network, the State and VOAD Donations Coordination Team (DCT) routes it directly to the disaster relief agencies that are working in the impacted areas. Aidmatrix does not receive financial gain from individual donations made through the Aidmatrix Network. Our goal is to connect those who have with those in need. To help those impacted by Hurricanes Gustav & Ike, please visit these websites:
