DALLAS, TX - June 18, 2008 - The Aidmatrix Foundation, Inc. today announced its partnership with the State of Indiana and the Aidmatrix Network® for Disaster Relief. The Aidmatrix Network® is a national disaster relief coordination system funded by FEMA, UPS, Accenture, and Aidmatrix Foundation, Inc. to better manage unsolicited donations and volunteers. It connects State and local governments with donors, State Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOADs), National VOAD, and FEMA through web-based tools that reduce paperwork and allow for easy information sharing. The Indiana Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives' website www.ofbci.in.gov is the central site for information on how to make donations in support of relief efforts. Donors can make offers of goods, services, or money using the website. Behind the scenes, it links into Indiana's portal on the Aidmatrix Network® to help with unsolicited In-Kind Donations Management, Warehouse Management, Volunteer Management and Financial Referrals Management. "With this powerful tool, we can be assured that the ability to provide assistance to the victims of tornadoes and flooding throughout Indiana will be maximized," states Isaac Randolph, Executive Director, Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. This web-based system will help the State of Indiana manage the public response of spontaneous giving. The information is collected electronically which, in turn, allows the State to easily communicate with the members of INVOAD, the State's Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster group. The end result is that more quality donations can be processed and delivered to the flood victims more efficiently. Indiana also raised a disaster relief warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, to manage the incoming unsolicited donations for the victims of recent severe flooding throughout the State. The purpose of this warehouse is to centralize the relief efforts and provide powerful, coordinated support to the nonprofits working on the ground. The relief warehouse is being run by the Adventist Community Services (ACS) team who specialize in disaster relief warehouses. ACS has used this solution in several other major disasters. The Aidmatrix Network® now covers more than 50% of the US population. Its members are helping revolutionize the way in which humanitarian relief is processed. It is streamlining relief efforts with technology and relationships just like the supply chains used within the for-profit world. The solution suite includes management modules for: In-Kind Donations, Volunteers, Warehouse, and Financial Referrals.
