Safety Wise Solutions has commisioned the translation of our suite of Incident Investigation Manuals and the ICAM Lead Investigator Course training package and multimedia into French.
Safety Wise Solutions can deliver the ICAM Lead Investigator Course in French with the aid of simultaneous translation services.
Description
ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) is an industrial HSE initiative that draws on the work of the eminent organisational psychologist and human error expert Professor James Reason. ICAM provides a highly practical and structured method in which to conduct systemic HSE investigations. Safety Wise Solutions offers a 2 day ICAM Lead Investigator Course covering:
- An introduction to systemic investigations
- An introduction to understanding human error in the context of organisational systems.
- Data gathering methods including witness interviewing
- Data organisation methodologies
- Data analysis using the ICAM model
- Development of corrective and preventative measures
- Practical application of incident investigation tools in case studies
The classroom based ICAM Lead Investigator training program:
- Is at or near industry best practice
- Is high quality, industry relevant, interactive and engaging.
- Incorporates high quality video and 3D animation material with French voice over.
- Simulates the investigation process as closely as possible given the constraints of a training venue
- Selects from a library of 40 industry relevant incident case studies from the aviation, rail, transport, mining, construction, maritime and ports sectors.
- Ensures the course attendees have an opportunity to use more investigation tools in their case study exercises

Course participants will receive full colour illustrated practical tools to support their investigations using ICAM, including:

Accreditation
Course Attendance Certificates will be issued on successful completion and included in the course cost is the option of sitting an assessment to gain a Statement of Attainment for the following Australian qualification:
