Coefficient Of Thermal Expansion?

In past newsletters we've discussed how and why wood moves. That comes back to moisture content. What we've shown you is that if you manage your moisture on trim and siding jobs, you will have a finished job that will look great for a very long time.
PVC products are being used on jobsites more and more. So today we will focus on how and why pvc moves and no doubt more importantly - how you control the movement of the pvc exterior trim products that you will sell or install, so that if you are using pvc - your clients will be happy with the finished product.
Movement of pvc is calculated using the coefficient of thermal expansion. Huh? What?
