We read with great sadness this morning that Kassie Minor passed away on Saturday, Mar 24.  Kassie, a stalwart advocate for the Charlotte Symphony, was a past president of The Symphony Guild (1967-1968), and a Marie R. Rowe Award recipient (2005) - not to mention a winner of both the CSO Spirit Award in 1994 and the Arts and Science Council Vanguard Award in 2005.

   Kassie is survived by four children (including our beloved friend Hardin Minor), nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Her honesty and passionate voice for symphonic music will be sorely missed.
