Annual Mah Jongg Friendraiser Has Record-Breaking Attendance

On January 26, Marlene Parmele hosted the annual Mah Jongg party at Southminster. Seventy-four people attended - they made tons of new friends AND provided over $1400 in revenue for The Guild.  Everyone had a grand day, complete with asian-themed decorations and favors.  Many, many thanks to Marlene for her generosity and hospitality!

UPDATE: GUILD OFFICE

The Management and Planning team has responsibilities relating to everything administrative, including our Office, Office Administration and Storage Unit. we are continually searching for ways to operate more efficiently and to reduce our administrative expenses.

Office/Office Administrator

Our Guild office is open!!

However, our Office Administrator, Stephanie Levin, resigned just before the holidays. We are now in process of looking for a replacement. The Management and Planning team is checking office voice mail and email frequently, plus handling correspondence and all other necessary tasks while we are engaged in finding Stephanie's replacement.

Storage Unit

Our Storage Unit is Closing!!

We have a storage unit which currently houses props and supplies for our fundraisers.  We are not using these items, which does not warrant our continuing to have a storage unit of this size and expense. So, we are downsizing to a climate-controlled unit to only store our records as noted in our retention policy.

Click here to see a list of the items in the storage unit that will be dispersed. Did you donate any of these items in the Storage Unit?  If so, would you like to claim them?  Notify Sallie Moody by Feb 10.

SAVE THE DATE: Scavenger Hunt - Sat, Feb 18 10am -  pm

All items are free to a good home.  Monetary donations are always welcome but not required.  The Storage Unit is located at 3710 Monroe Road - someone will be stationed at the gate to let you in.

Any leftover items will be donated and the large storage unit closed.  Does anyone have a truck we can borrow?

Thanks a million for your patience while we make these much needed adjustment!
