THE LEAGUE OF AMERICAN ORCHESTRAS

SUPPORTING VOLUNTEERS NATIONWIDE!

The League of American Orchestras offers a wealth of information and services for orchestra volunteers. Since our symphony is a member organization, we are lucky enough to all be members of the League, as well.

We have all benefited from the League through the GoldBookOnline resources, as well as having several of our members serve on the League's Volunteer Council over the years. There are wonderful research reports, fund raising, education, and community engagement ideas, webinars, mentoring opportunities, and more. The League would love to include you in their regular electronic mailings to volunteers including:

  • Information about member organization volunteer activities
  • The broad picture of the symphony world in the U.S. and Canada
  • Discussion groups with peers
  • And much more!

To learn more about the League's services, please visit the following websites:

    homepage:  www.americanorchestras.org

    volunteers:  www.americanorchestras.org/utilities/volunteers.html

To receive emails and information from the League and Volunteer Council of the League, send your name, email address and symphony group to Meghan Whitbeck, senior associate for meetings, advertising, volunteer services, League of American Orchestras, at mwhitbeck@americanorchestras.org.

Join the LISTSERV today - you'll be glad to be a part of a nationwide corps of volunteers for symphonies!
