VOLUNTEER! Festival in the Park
The CSO and CSYO will perform outdoors
Sun, Sep 25
The Charlotte Symphony will host a tent at Freedom Park's Festival in the Park. We need volunteers to help hand out concert information for the CSO and Youth Orchestras, plus upcoming dates for the Musical Petting Zoo.
And, we have a brand new online volunteer site which Jackie Slaugenhaupt has been working on. With just one click you can sign-up and see who else will be there. We think you will love how easy it is to volunteer for the Guild projects you love!

We are now historical ...
Where DO old scrapbooks go?

MPZ Does Chik-Fil-A
Cotswold will never be the same!
 | |
Julia Church and Ann McDermott man the MPZ
|
On a normal Tuesday evening, August 16th to be exact, the Musical Petting Zoo debuted at the Cotswold Chik-Fil-A at the corner of Randolph Road and Sharon Amity. Four stalwart members of the Guild and Master Zookeeper Julia Church entertained 75 children (and even the Chik-Fil-A cow) with hands-on playing of the instruments.
Next on the MPZ agenda will be at Imaginon on Saturday, Sep 17, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, and Saturday, Sep 24, from 10:00 am to 11:00 at the first Lollipops Concert of the season - "The Story of Babar" - at the Blumenthal PAC.
Please do sign up with Julia Church to volunteer for these extraordinarily fun days!! Just click on Julia's name for an email opportunity ...
