Over the years, we have endeavored to keep you informed about our members - their triumphs, their losses, their families - through our Noteables quarterly newsletter. In order to give you this information in a more timely manner, we will be sending you this email communication whenever we have something to share with you about our members.

Carol Douglas,
Arts Advocate & Guild Patron Member
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Carol Douglas. Carol was a relatively new patron member of The Guild, but many of us knew her for her good work in our community. She worked tirelessly on behalf of many organizations to make Charlotte a better place to live. Her special love was classical music, having served as president of The Friends of Music at Queens University for numerous terms. Carol will be greatly missed. |

Robert "Bob" Hamilton,
Husband of Diane Hamilton (former member)
Diane Hamilton, whom many of you have known throughout the years for her wonderful contributions to out Designer House, both as a volunteer and designer, has lost her husband, Bob, to esophageal cancer. Bob passed away this past weekend. A memorial service will be held at:
St. Albans Episcopal Church, Davidson
