Dear Friends:

This month SEARCH Homeless Services is enthusiastic about health and fitness awareness. Helping us promote good health are some new and very generous friends at Bike Barn who donated bikes and equipment to residents at an apartment complex where SEARCH has case managers providing support- scroll down to read more about their story!

We can all benefit from stimulating physical activity during the day: a walk around the block after dinner, playing soccer in the yard with our kids, and the list goes on.  Join me in encouraging our clients at Jackson Hinds Gardens who now have a new opportunity to increase their well-being!

Thank you,

Tip of the month:
As you might imagine, if you were experiencing homelessness you wouldn't have access to healthy nutrition options. This month hand an apple or other healthy snack along with a bottle of water to the man or woman you encounter on the street.
