SEARCH client, Gordon McBee, has been clean for a little over 8 years. In that time he has worked hard to overcome a life of drug addiction and all of the accompanying complications. Now Gordon participates in Recovery Group and is considering becoming a peer counselor.  Michael O'Connor, former SEARCH client, recently released "Kind Mike, My Life on the Street" Here's an excerpt from Mike's book. "As soon as I got back and got sat down on my bucket with a fresh beer Linda wanted to know who that lady was. I told her the whole conversation just like I have told it to you. Her reply was, "Kind Mike, you will never escape the street, you are the street now."
