Everyone is a Winner with the Great Park Pursuit Spring Sprint!

Another game has come to a close but the memories will last a lifetime.  In the end all teams that participated in the Great Park Pursuit Spring Sprint went home winners because they spent time together as a family, traveled to some new and exciting places within their home state, and enjoyed the great outdoors and all it has to offer.

Ultimately, 134 families participated in all 4 events and received a 2012 Connecticut State Park and Forest Season Pass.

Be sure to check out photos from this year's Great Park Pursuit Spring Sprint!

Thanks to all of the families that participated and we hope to see you visiting a state park and/or forest this summer!

FeaturedActivityFeatured Activity - EarthCaching

Where in the world is N 41 39.080 W 072 39.397?  Well, it is somewhere in Connecticut, and these numbers represent the latitude and longitude coordinates of that spot.  EarthCaching is an exciting way to learn about the Earth by getting families and friends outdoors to experience some of the hidden (and not-so-hidden) geologic wonders of Connecticut.  An EarthCache is a place where you will find an interesting geologic feature or process that will enrich your outdoor experience.  It may be found in the woods, along a trail, at the beach or even in the middle of the city.
