Fashion designs for 2012 are being inspired by a diverse range of styles (and lifestyles), from light and playful to a renewal of classic looks and trends. 2012 Pantone colors reflect this diversity, offering both sizzling brights like Tangerine Tango and Cabaret to softer, more muted hues like Sweet Lilac and Starfish.
According to the Pantone Color Institute's executive director Leatrice Eiseman, consumers have learned to experiment with new color combinations that help them alter moods and create more vitality and enthusiasm in their lives.
