JAZZ FEST!

Harlem Renaissance Expo: On the Night of Thursday, October 13th 2011, during the annual Student Demonstration Evening, the Upper School students will be sharing an adventure into the History of the Harlem Renaissance! This is an extension of their studies in American cultural history and literature.
Time: 6:30-7:30pm
Jazz Fest: Afterwards, for those who wish to join us, the Secondary Students have planned an intimate Jazz Fest, featuring traditional food, jazz tunes, and dancing from the era. Time: 7:30-9:00pm Setting: Outside under the trees The evening is based on the concept of a Harlem Renaissance Rent Party! The students ask that, if we join them, that we either contribute a Cajun or Soul Food dish, a yummy dessert, or contribute to the "rent fund" to help cover the costs.
