AMWA Calls for Removal of Barrier to Access to Plan B One-Step

AMWA calls for the reversal of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' decision not to accept the recommendations of experts of the FDA to remove barriers to access to Plan B One-Step, a safe and effective contraceptive method. Members are urged to contact the White House.

U.S. Medical School Faculties Not Keeping Pace with Demographics of Students or Society

Despite the continuing effort of increasing the representation of women and non-white faculty, the diversity of medical school faculty has not kept pace with the diversity of medical school students or of society overall, according to The Changing Demographics of Full-Time U.S. Medical School Faculty, 1966-2009. 
Traveling Fellowship Award for Surgeons in Academic Practice
