Sixel Consulting and Fargo Airport Authority Update GFMEDC Board on Air Service

International and domestic boardings continue to hit record levels at Fargo's Hector International Airport - and that trend is expected to continue. That's the message from Sixel Consulting Group, the Fargo Airport Authority's air service consulting firm. Michael Lum from Sixel Consulting Group gave a presentation to the GFMEDC Board of Directors at the board's April meeting discussing the state of air service, fare structures and traffic history relative to the Fargo market. According to the consultant, while fares have been relatively low, they are starting to increase due in part to Frontier Airline's exit of the Fargo market last year and increasing fuel costs.
