COMMUNITY MADE THE DIFFERENCE
Four decades in the making, Monterey County gave final approval to the Corral Village last night by a vote of 3-2. Supervisor Salinas summed it up: "It's been years and years of listening to the community...this is the kind of village project I believe many communities would want."
Design of the Corral Village was modified over the last year to respond to staff, community and county concerns. The final approved project includes: * 10 low-rise buildings * 100+ foot setbacks from frontage roads * 30-32 foot wide planted berms along 68 * 20-28 foot planted berms along CDT * A rainwater harvesting/recharge system
Village supporter and Toro Park resident Mary Lynn Pinto perhaps said it best last night: "our community needs a place to come together and we're excited about having the village."

THANK YOU!
Somehow, "thank you" can't express the depth of my family's appreciation to you, our supporters. This is YOUR project. We couldn't have done it without you.
I was three years old when my folks bought this property. We've been at work to create a village project for over 40 years. It was my mother Nancy who had the vision of how this site could become a neighborhood village. And, with your input and bolstering, we can now make that vision a reality.
My family is humbled by your trust in us. Our door is always open. Together, we'll make this happen.
THANK YOU!
