Avon Day "Can"struction

Tower Avon Day 2

Our Avon Day "Canstruction Design - Guess How Many Cans" contest has a winner! Congratulations to Charlotte from Meriden whose winning guess of 2,120 cans was right on the nose! She credits her excellent estimation to her years of teaching as a daycare provider and learning math without the advantage of a calculator!

Thank you to Hot Heaven Pizzeria for providing the prize, and an enormous thank you to ShopRite of Canton, and Fitzgerald's in Simsbury for each donating 1,000 cans of food, and to Big Y for their 120 can donation. All of the canned goods are now in our food pantry and will be donated to families in need.
