Casino Night was a success and we can't THANK YOU enough!!
Ryan Dempster and his Chicago Cubs teammates, Crystal Bowersox, WWF Champion CM Punk and National Baseball Hall of Famer Ernie Banks, along with some of the biggest names in baseball, hit a homerun by raising more than $350,000 for the Dempster Foundation at the Third Annual Dempster Foundation Casino Night and auction.

UPDATE ON THE JOHNSON FAMILY IN TUSCALOOSA AL
Habitat for Humanity and High Socks for Hope have been working diligently these past several weeks to complete the home for Anthony Johnson, an 8 year old with 22q, and his family, whose home was destroyed in the Alabama tornados in 2011. Funds from last year's Casino Night were gifted to the family and charity through the Dempster Family Foundation.

a Difference." Biennial Conference for 22q takes Disney this July!
22q Families-don't miss the Biennial 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome Meeting to be held at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA from Friday, July 6 th 2012 through Tuesday, July 10th 2012.
This Conference is designed not only for "professionals" but for families (parents, grandparents, etc.) and children and adults with the 22q Deletion. The conference includes invited presentations from leading international clinicians and researchers, as well as, selected papers from submitted abstracts, and other sessions focusing on the most important and recent developments associated with the 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. A full Social Program is also planned.

22Q CAMP AT DRAGONFLY FOREST FOR KIDS 7 TO 14
Dragonfly Forest is serving kids with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. This year this will be a joint session with children with 22Q deletion and Persistent Asthma. Our goal is to provide an exhilarating, challenging, and nurturing camp experience through which children gain a greater sense of independence, self-esteem, and self-reliance. Dragonfly Forest aspires to maximize the beneficial therapeutic impact of camp with a state-of-the-art facility and an innovative camp program which integrates peer support and outdoor adventure with high quality medical care, supervision, and education.
