The Newcastle Street Department will be closing the north Country Club bridge between north west 16TH and north west 24TH for repairs. It will be closed at 9:00 am. Sweet Scholar Auction
Bring your checkbook for a worthwhile cause. This auction is utilized at the main funding source for the annual award of the Mona Brite Scholarship. We will be auctioning off items donated by area businesses and community leaders.
Online auction for the items will begin on April 18th and run until April 25th. All items are subject to availabililty. Please note that winning bid at end of business on April 25th will be first bid posted at the auction. This does not guarantee that you will win the item. Best way to secure an item is to also attend the auction on April 26th.
New and exciting feature will be the "FORK". For an extra $10, you can purchase an option to sample the auction items.

We still have space available on the upcoming production of the Community Map. Panels are sold out but business card sizes are still available. You have the option to increase the size should room allow.
The last production of our city map was in 2077 of 5,000 copies which lasted 3 years. This production is for 10,000 copies. THAT IS A HUGE RETURN on your investment
Are your church or restaurant? We have a special sections dedicated to you!
In the restaurant guide, each listing will be by category and will include name, address, phone and hours of operation. We will also include breakfast, lunch or dinner, whatever is applicable.
All this for a cost of $150.00. That breaks down to a minimal of 3 years worth of promotion for $50 per year for one upfront investment.
In the church directory, each lilsting will be category and will include name, address, phone and Sunday and Wednesday services.
All this for a cost of $100.00. That breaks down to a minimal of 3 years worth of promotion for $34 per year for one upfront investment.
Of course, you do have the additional option of purchasing a larger space.

Annual Golf Scramble
The Annual Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will be held at Purcell Golf Club on June 28th. The day promises a good time for all with tee time at 9:00 a.m. Play will follow a best ball scramble format, so golfers of all abilities can be accommodated.
The $80 golfer registration fee includes a cart, green fees, continental breakfast and an awards luncheon. Prizes for closest to the hole and longest drive will be awarded.

Farmers Market
Bring home the makings for a fresh, Oklahoma grown meal or pamper yourself with Oklahoma made products, straight from the farm to the table. This new agriculturally-focused market will include everything from fresh produce, flowers to homemade crafts.
The market is hosted by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce. We will be coordinating exhibits, entertainment, contests and more for the true experience, visit the community calender for up to date information. .

NHS Senior Tea
The Newcastle Chamber's Women's Network will be hosting the 2nd Annual NHS Senior Tea on May 16th. All graduating senior girls are given the opportunity to come to thier first official business luncheon as young women entering the business world by either attending college or trade schools, military or the workforce.
It is a great opportunity young and old to come together and network.
