Seamless in Seattle 
Lisa Vian Hunter is officially a finalist in the annual Seamless in Seattle competition. Lisa is competing in the category of Best Emerging Designer. She will later this week be presenting her line before the Seattle Magazine Fashion Editorial Board. Will she win the competition? Stay tuned. The winner will be announced and have photos and a mention in the September issue of Seattle Magazine (on shelves in August). Let's all wish Lisa best of luck in this Seattle competition! Project Runway Update!!
Wow! Thank you everyone so much for your good wishes as Lisa Vian Hunter vies for a spot on Project Runway Season 8! After meeting with Project Runway's Tim Gunn and recent Season 7 Winner Seth Aaron Henderson, Lisa was asked back to meet with the show's casting directors for the final audition, which, seemed to go very well from Lisa's perspective. As you all know, if successful, this would lead to Seattle's favorite new designer participating as a contestant/cast member for Project Runway Season 8, which starts filming this summer. Hopefully, Lisa gets selected to be on the show. More importantly, the outpouring of support from the Vian Hunter House of Fashion community here in Seattle has been nothing short of overwhelming - thank you so much everybody! Seattle really does support its own!
