Dear Animal Compassion Networkers,
 It's that time of year again! Leaves turning, cooler weather, and the 11th Annual Prestige Subaru Fall Adoptathon! With rescue groups from all over the Carolinas, there will be cats, kittens, dogs and puppies galore for you to choose from. Working with our sponsors, we are taking over the Province 620 parking lot and turning it into a rescue bonanza! Check out just a few of the sweet faces who will be up for adoption this weekend:

UPDATES:Roux Dinner Chef Randy Dunn & Biltmore Estate Winemaker, Sharon Fenchack, hosted a sold-out Wine Dinner to benefit Animal Compassion Network's foster/adoption program at Roux Restaurant in Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park on Tuesday, October 5. The vegetarian gourmet wine dinner was a huge (and delicious) success!
  
maurices Fashion Show Animal Compassion Network's adoptable pets were the trendiest animals in town on Friday, October 8 at Pet Harmony, ACN's store for rescued pets. ACN pets strutted their stuff on the runway with maurices' models for Rescues and Runways. Rescues and Runways is a national campaign created by maurices, in partnership with the ASPCA® .

Volunteers needed for animal care positions at Pet Harmony! Applicants should be prepared to provide animal care including cleaning dog and cat habitats, feeding and watering animals, litter box cleaning, laundry, and general cleaning duties. Benefits are many and varied, such as the gratitude of each and every rescued animal for which care is provided, which also might involve purring, happy tail wagging, and meows or barks of joy.
Retail Assistance Volunteers
Volunteers needed to assist with the normal daily operations of a pet supply and accessory store called PET HARMONY! Stock maintenance, cash register operation, cleaning, answering phones, and exceptional customer service are all vital parts of this position. Benefits include witnessing the happy occurrences of rescued pet adoptions.
