Thanksgiving greetings!

Preparing a holiday meal can seem like a daunting task, but if you take the time to plan ahead, you can save yourself a ton of stress.  Start by deciding on a menu.  Choosing fresh, simple dishes that can be fully or partially prepared ahead of time is key, and these are some of my favorites.  From turkey that cooks in under two hours (and won't take up your whole oven) to three-ingredient veggie sides and decadent make-ahead desserts, these easy recipes will make preparing your feast a breeze.

You can find links to my Easy Thanksgiving Recipes below.  For more tips on how to stay organized (and sane) on the big day, be sure to check out my Tips for an Easy Thanksgiving.

Cheers!

Rye bread gives this basic stuffing an earthy flavor and makes it incredibly fragrant, but you can substitute any bread you like.  Cutting the bread into chunky pieces gives the stuffing a great texture.

This is a super-simple way to make cranberry sauce.  Just stir the three (or four) ingredients together, simmer, and cool.  That's it!  A perfect accompaniment for your Thanksgiving turkey.

Pumpkin Pie with Graham Cracker Crust

A fall favorite!  The homemade graham cracker crust is super easy to make, even if you've never made a pie before!  Be sure to let the pie cool completely before you eat it - it tastes best once it's had time to set.
