Sports and Fitness will host the workshop, "Take Your Fit Breaks," from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in room N-1099, One Main Building. Individuals who work seven to eight hours a day owe it to their bodies to take short breaks to recharge and maintain good circulation. If people sit more than 60 minutes at a desk without a break, then it's time to break that bad habit. If students are in a class, they can learn some ways to take a break without disrupting the class. If staff members are in an office, push away from the desk and walk around or do a few of the workshop exercises. Breaks are also a great time to get in a healthy snack. Workshop presenters will share snack ideas and have several for participants to taste. Snacks will be provided. To review the flier and to reserve a spot for this seminar, click Take Your Fit Breaks!
