Are you ready to get ready?  Before long you will be basking in the sunshine on the deck of Radiance of the Seas as she heads to Belize & Playa Del Carmen. Here is some information to help you begin your plans and preparation for this exciting vacation!


Royal Caribbean Booking numbers should be issued by the end of January.  We will be e-mailing them as soon as they are available.  Once you have your number you can complete your Sign & Sail Pass and book specialty restaurant reservations, wine & beverage packages, tours & excursion.  We have included information in this letter about:

Do you want an upgrade?  We don't have any now, but I would like to reconfirm that my balcony/suite upgrade list is accurate.  If you want to be on my list please reply to this e-mail with a note about the cabin type you prefer.

Do your friends want to join you?  There are a couple interior and oceanview cabins that have become available on this sailing.  If you have friends who want to come along have them phone ASAP!

We listen to your feedback and there have been a number of big changes to the activities planned the nights before the Couples Cruise.  TheNightBeforeTheCoupelsCruise.com
  • We are recommending Sheraton Riverwalk as the #1 choice hotel - $115 per night + tax.  No minimum night stay required.  We have a hotel takeover and recommend you book a room soon.
  • Overflow rooms available at Hilton Garden Inn Ybor.  Transportation to the party not included.  We had a good time in Ybor in November but felt like the area was questionable.
  • The party will not be at The Castle in Ybor City.
  • Events are scheduled at Channel Side and walking distance from our first choice hotel, Sheraton Riverwalk.  On the agenda are meet and greets at Channel Side, pool side relaxation, a dance party at a luxury hotel, local swing clubs and other fun.  There will be a minimal charge from the party organizers.  We will make sure you have the information as soon as it's released and reservations/payment for the party is being accepted.
  • Are you considering trying to travel on Monday, April 25 - the day of the cruise?  We advise you to come in at least the night before.  Travel delays and lost baggage delays can ruin a long planned vacation.  Please try to arrive no later than Sunday.  We will be arriving in Tampa on Friday April 22 - Why not make a pre-crusie weekend of it?

Tips from the November Cruisers 2010 - Part I

Here is what the folks on the November cruise said when they were asked for one tip for future cruisers:
  • Don't try to do it all.
  • No drama. Leave the baggage at home.
  • We loved exactly what we lived.
  • Don't set expectations. Let each day unfold and enjoy!
  • Mingle!
  • Don't go to sleep!
  • If you meet a couple you like dont hesitate. There are so many people that a couple is hard to find again.
  • More shoes less clothes.
  • Meet people, talk lots, get around.
  • Do not over pack.
     
  • Bring cards so you can find the cabins for your new friends and keep intouch after the cruise.
  • Go to any and all meet and greets.
  • Be more involved with the activities going on around the ship.
