You'll notice that KWIC News has a new look. It recently came to our attention that many of our subscribers have not been receiving our KWIC News newsletters - if you were one of these people, please accept our apologies. We won't bore you with the technical details of why this happened, we will just tell you that by switching to a new provider we are happy to have resolved these issues.

Annie E. Casey's 20th annual KIDS COUNT Data Book provides a national and state-by-state look at the status of U.S. children. This year's companion essay outlines a series of action steps to improve the nation's use of data in creating policies that improve outcomes for children and families.
