Yama Seiki - AWEA to Exhibit New Machining Centers at IMTS

BM-1200 VMC

As seen in Manufacturing News - Yama Seiki - AWEA will be exhibiting the BM-1200 VMC and LP-2516YF Bridge Type 5-FACE machining center at IMTS 2012.

Yama Seiki - AWEA's VMC BM-1200 50T contains full features of the BM series and more. This machine is designed to easily handle demanding milling applications. By using the Finite Element Method (FEM), optimal reinforcement ribbing is directly cast into the one-piece bed structure. Together with the super-wide Y shape column, mechanical rigidity has been increase by more than 45% when compared to conventional designs.

The LP-F series Bridge Type 5-FACE Machining Center is suitable for the automotive, precision mold, aerospace and energy industries. LP-2516YF is equipped with an automatic head changer and vertical/horizontal head ATC system to provide maximum efficiency as a 5-face machining center. Also, the automatic head storage magazine provides two cabinets for both horizontal head and spindle cap. The linear guide way sliding design provides quick head change to reduce non-cutting time. Each cabinet is equipped with independent swing door; it only opens when is exchanging, which eliminates the contamination in head storage for longer life time.
