Take these six steps with Google Analytics to get more out of your marketing dollars

Last month, a client of mine sent over 50,000 flyers to his target market. Consistent proponents for web analytics, my team suggested to our client that we track the campaign through Google's free web Analytics service.

The results were shocking:
Of the 50,000 flyers sent to a highly targeted audience base, he only received eight inquiries.Meanwhile, the organic traffic to the client's website from search engines resulted in over 100 sales. Even random Craigslist posts (which we also tracked) had given him better results than his flyer campaign
