Doggie camp has become so popular, we just want to remind you that we also board cats. Our specialty for felines is kitty suites. Kitty suites are room-sized (9 feet tall, 8 feet wide and 4 feet deep). Each suite has a 6' tall scratching post, pong toy, assorted toys, perches and a cuddly sleeping spot. There is a bird feeder (we fill daily) outside of each suite's window. The kitties listen to soothing or classical music and enjoy a bark-free zone 100 feet away from the dog compound. If you haven't visited in a while, we've done some improvements. See cattery pictures here! |
Doggie Day Care

Does your dog drag you to Whiskers? Or whine every time you drive past? Is your dog eating the couch while you're at work? Or does your dog just need to work on his/her socialization skills? Consider doggie day care. Doggie day care is offered Monday-Friday (except for Whiskers-observed holidays). Booking a doggie day care appointment is easy. You can call it in, e-mail it in or use the form on our website. We recommend getting a punch card. If your pup's on a punchcard (multiple daycares) we will simply run your pup(s) in and out to you when you pull up! You can rest assured that your dog(s) will be enjoying quality socialization while you are busy at work or doing errands. Daycare reservations can be made on our Day Care Page or just called in to 241-PETS (7387). |
Comfortis, Advantage + and Revolution for Dogs

Just a reminder that Comfortis and Advantage Plus are not tick controls. Consequently, additional or substitute Whiskers-approved tick controls
will be required during your pups stays at Whiskers in order to keep
your pup(s), our premises, and all the animals at Whiskers pest-free. Unfortunately we do not accept Revolution either. The only tick Revolution
claims to work against is Dermacentor variabilis, the American Dog
Tick, which is not found in Hawaii! We accept Frontline+, ProMeris or Advantix given within the last 30 days and on a 30 day cycle when here. In our experience, island vets will suggest adding Frontline + or Advantix just prior to stay.

Lucky Kukui Kitten
|
 Our wonderful kitten friend, Kukui, is ready for his new home! Kukui is very loving. He thinks humans are his parents (especially women). Every effort was made to handle him lots. Accordingly, he is comfortable with being touched on his belly, between his toes, etc. He is extremely trusting.
Kukui has had his first set of kitten vaccinations. Kukui is neutered and is on current flea control. He is litter box trained (he was a natural). Kukui comes with one week free boarding at Whiskers (policies including vaccinations must be adhered to and would be the responsibility of the new owner).
This is a link to pictures of Kukui kitten. What they can't convey is how relaxed, loving and playful he is. He was purring the whole time! Kukui is very bonded to humans and comes when called! Whoever gets Kukui will be very lucky indeed!
