Money is a creation just like anything else in your life. The amount of money flowing to you is all about allowing it in by reducing the resistant thoughts around it.
Resistant thoughts like, I can't make more money because I am locked into a pay scale. I don't have the education. I never seem to have enough money. The economy sucks. No one has any money. I hate people with money. I feel guilty if I have too much money. Where will the money come from. Oh I could go on. lol
Each and everyone of those statements holds the vibration of lack. Those statements are not what are holding you in the space you are in but, instead, are the expression of the vibration you are holding. Until you clean up the vibration, you will block money from flowing to you and pretty much everything else too.
Remember, the statement, "But it's true." Oh that one is like cement overshoes.
Emotions=Communication. It is how Spirit gets our attention. Makes complete sense. Once I started playing with this concept, my life changed. How the heck did I miss that one? Sometimes it gets tricky when I have a knee jerk response to something that I am not really wanting. But with some practice I have found that my feelings don't let me down. The more sensitive I get to how I feel, the better I feel in general. The better I feel the more I find my life experience bringing to me all the things I could ever hope for. Sure I still have some resistant or limiting thoughts that I want to turn around but cleaning up my emotional vibration has made all the difference
