I highly recommend a coaching/mentoring session with Gwen whether you are new or an old-timer to the LOA.  She has an uncanny knack of quickly identifying the sometimes elusive, resistant thoughts that we harbor in the back of our minds.  Her homework assignments keeps me on track and produce results quicker than I could do on my own.  The relief always makes me feel lighter.  It's like getting an existential push up the emotional scale.

In the moment you feel yourself experiencing those not so good FEELINGS.  STOP and look at what is going on and say, "I know what I don't want.....that....which means I know what I do want."  Then mentally make your brain shift to the thing that you do want.  It is not enough to say I don't want that.  Because that is already where your focus is and what is causing that not so good FEELING. 

Make the mental shift to what you do want.  Example.  Someone's driving is not quite up to your standards.  You feel the anger.  Stop and say.  I know I don't want---that.  What is it that I do want?  Is it nicer drivers on the road?  A more pleasant drive to work?  Just a better FEELING overall for your day?  To be home with your family or pets? 

Can you FEEL the shift in emotion as you take your mind off of the thing that gave you contrast, to the thing that you desire most in that moment?  It will be different for each of you.  It will be different in each moment of your day. 
 
Try it right now.  What is it that you do want, right now?

Emotions=Communication.  It is how Spirit gets our attention.  Makes complete sense.  Once I started playing with this concept, my life changed.  How the heck did I miss that one?  Sometimes it gets tricky when I have a knee jerk response to something that I am not really wanting.  But with some practice I have found that my feelings don't let me down.  The more sensitive I get to how I feel, the better I feel in general.  The better I feel the more I find my life experience bringing to me all the things I could ever hope for.  Sure I still have some resistant or limiting thoughts that I want to turn around but cleaning up my emotional vibration has made all the difference
