let's begin......
Ahhh the unsupervised mind. I have mentioned before it is like a small child. Left unattended, it will find something to occupy its time and it may not be the thing you would have preferred.
A quick way to know if you forgot to give yourself something to think about or focus on, is if you find yourself not feeling so good. If you discover that as you are driving to work or running errands that you are gripping the wheel a little tight and losing your patience with all the folks you are sharing the road with......ooopsy. We have let our mind wander into some thoughts that are not where we want to be focused. Take the thoughts you were just thinking and Pivot them to thoughts that feel better to you. Ask yourself. What feels better to me in this moment? That will get your mind turned around and working on something a little more constructive than what it was just focused on. Our minds respond to us. We just have to take the reigns. Maybe for the first time in years. But it is okay. Now is always a good time to try something new and see what happens. Our minds are wonderful things. They love to work, they just need to know which way to go. Choose the good feeling path.
Again, it is all about the feelings.

For me, this was such a turning point. To understand that feelings were the way that Source/my Inner Being was communicating with me was something I had never heard before. I come from a family that was all about not showing emotion. Emotions were a sign of weakness and so on and so on. Somehow it made sense though. Why else would God have given us something that we wouldn't have a use for.
Emotions=Communication. It is how Spirit gets our attention. Makes complete sense. Once I started playing with this concept, my life changed. How the heck did I miss that one? Sometimes it gets tricky when I have a knee jerk response to something that I am not really wanting. But with some practice I have found that my feelings don't let me down. The more sensitive I get to how I feel, the better I feel in general. The better I feel the more I find my life experience bringing to me all the things I could ever hope for. Sure I still have some resistant or limiting thoughts that I want to turn around but cleaning up my emotional vibration has made all the difference
