Mirror Mirror on the wall. Whose the farest of them all?
Oh we have been taught that to look into the mirror and like or even, hush, love what we see is evil. That it will lead to terrible things.
Actually, looking into the mirror and not approving of what you see is what leads to terrible things. I know that one made you cringe. Face it, (lol sorry for the pun) if you are not loving who you are and what you see, that is what is reflected back to you in your daily life. That is what comes back to you in illness and a whole lot of other things. Because it is a vibration you are carrying.
Trying to lose weight? Not going to happen if you are looking in the mirror and hating what you see. Sure you can take some pretty drastic diet programs but the result will be the same. There will be no staying power with the results because you never learned to love you first. All of you. Every detail whether it met with society's idea of beauty or not.
Try this. Touch a part of your body and focus some love onto that space. See if you can't move into an appreciation for all that the various parts of your body do for you all day, everyday.
It isn't the kind of food or the exercise or the genes you were born with. It is all about how much you love yourself, even those parts.
Even those parts.
