"And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites." Exodus 3,8
"Land flowing with milk and Honey" is a high state that seekers of truth experience after they purify their heart of the unnecessary.
Year after year I'm observing the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites in me, learning to know them and not react to them in a mechanical way.
Every day there are opportunities in which I can decide weather to satisfy the body, my machine, or to look, Be present to the moment and satisfy the creator.
In each moment I've been given the possibility to decide weather to fall to the lower or look up to the higher.
to experience a "land that eateth up the inhabitants..."
or a "land flowing with milk and Honey"
On Saturday morning I had a concert in which I played
Sonata No. 2 for Flute and Piano.
There were a few times during the performance that little mistakes popped up.
Very firmly I continued with out falling into imagination,
self deprecation or self pity.
I preferred to go to the next note - to continue, and Be in the next moment.
That creates music.
