"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed!"
-Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls/Washington Wizards
Anyone who knows me, giggles at my love of Michael Jordan. I spent years watching his basketball career, MVP awards, three-peats and his unique demeanor on the court. I believe he was the greatest basketball player of all time. But that's coming from a girl who literally went through a grieving process both times he retired (Bulls/Wizards)!
His statement above holds weight as he spent so much of his childhood motivated to prove his worth (he was deemed too short to play basketball his sophomore year in high school). In the end he was successful because he didn't fear failing.
We're in the last week of registration for the SHARE Symposium. I won't tell you that the "ride" to develop this conference has been easy... because it hasn't! We've had team members drop out, new recruits join the ranks. Delays, defense issues, etc. But the entire time, our beloved team has worked together. We are grateful to all who have dedicated their pursuits, passion and prayers!
Special thanks also to those who have registered, booked your hotel and are starting to pack your California attire for the event (casual, remember we're at the beach). We're excited to "get in the game" with each of you.
If you haven't yet reserved your space... there are still a few spots left. The registration button is below on this email. CLICK IT! If you can't attend, please pass the email to someone who might be interested in joining us.
Michael also said, "I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come!" We tend to agree with him!
Those coming together for the SHARE Symposium are not afraid of failing.
In fact, we're looking to change the outcome!
