We are so excited for the upcoming ARIN SHARE Symposium. It's just over 120 days away!!
Our 2009 inaugural event, was such a huge success, that we had affiliates begging us to host one on the west coast. Our members spoke, we listened!
The theme for 2012, Come Aboard, sends a very personal message: to those leading recovery programs, to those providing awareness opportunities, to the church, resource centers, pro-life community, as well as professional therapists, life coaches, bereavement specialists and other community agencies (celebrate recovery groups, rape and sexual abuse counselors, eating disorder specialists, nursing and medical staff etc.)
The healing of our nation takes everyone's participation!
When Abortion Recovery InterNational (ARIN) was established back in 2003, co-founder Chris Jackman and I knew that the sharing of personal testimonies and abortion recovery support services were broader than just pregnancy resource centers and churches. God was clear in speaking to us to expand His territory. We are simply listening... and hope you are too!
Who should consider attending?
- The eager leader: who might be somewhat uneducated about the impact of sharing one's personal testimony or the ripple affects of abortion on individuals and families. Someone who is willing to learn more in order to help heal the hurts and hang-ups of people in his/her care. i.e.: pastors, peer counselors, youth leaders, students, school counselors, medical personnel.
- The early leader: who may understand there is a broader need for awareness efforts and recovery support services and feels called to network with programs in his/her area. i.e.: celebrate recovery staff, women's ministry director, professional therapist, pro-life leader, prison personnel, abstinence educator and rape or sex industry counselor.
- The experienced leader: who has been facilitating recovery groups, or is speaking publicly and working in the community and may want to bring their presentation and/or program "up to speed" or keep "plugged in"!
- The exceptional leader: who is passionate about being on the cutting edge in awareness and recovery efforts to seek and save those that are lost and those that are hurting. A leader who realizes that by uniting our efforts, greater results can happen.
The ARIN SHARE Symposium is different than most any other conference. It's not about sitting for hours. It's not about rows of chairs or podiums. It's not about dressing up or trying to impress your peers. It's not about judgement, politics or denominational divides. It doesn't matter where you've been or what you've done.
The ARIN Symposium IS about strategic planning, humbling sharing ideas, resources and concepts. It's about building community relations so that we may all work more collaboratively in Sharing Hope Awareness and Recovery Efforts. At the ARIN Symposium you'll roll up your jeans (yes jeans, capris, etc) and wade in the water with everyone else. We'll navigate the current waves of society. We'll share a life ring with anyone who needs it. The Symposium is VERY interactive. It's about fellowship and prayer. It's about relaxation and peace.
It's about listening ~ to HIM!
He's our Captain, our Navigator and our Compass!

As a child who learned to sail at the age of six, my parents always said, "Remember, one hand for you and one hand for the boat!" Grab hold ladies and gentlemen as we chart His course for the USS Recovery!
On behalf of the ARIN Crew....
We Welcome You to "Come Aboard",
