Abortion Recovery Awareness Month is right around the corner.  And you'll find some great ideas for the month in the box below.  But we wanted to give you a heads-up on some other amazing NEW Abortion Recovery Resources created by ARIN Affiliates.  We like sharing...

DVD's:

A brand NEW recovery film, called "Set Free" was launched yesterday.  This film reveals the truth that there is no weight of human despair so heavy that it cannot be lifted by the grace of God ~ even the deep wounds of a past abortion.

In this collection of women and men tell of the miraculous journey from a dark place of human grief and shame toward the light of God's forgiveness and grace.

Few people realize how many American women and men have participated in an abortion. Rarely will those affected by abortion seek counsel or find healing from this haunting memory. But there is hope and new life - and amazingly incredible and unexpected JOY- available for anyone who seeks God's true healing.

You can watch a preview of the film for the next few hours, here: "Set Free" Preview

and

"Life After Abortion"! Countless women and men have been over-whelmed by after abortion grief. Fear, anxiety, pain, guilt and shame often consume their lives. Eating disorders, alcohol and drug use as well as "cutting" and other self-inflicting behaviors also arise. Many suffer years, even decades, in silence.

Life After Abortion takes an honest look at the undeniable impact abortion has had on real people. And the hope for healing and recovery!

Just a few of the amazing individuals who share how their lives were altered by abortion: Alveda King, Molly White, Tracey Reynolds, Julie Thomas, Rhonda Arias, Kelly Roy, Millie Lace, Joyce Zounis, Carol Everett, Rebecca Porter, Cindy Collins, Stacy Massey, Gary Stanislawski, Lisa Dudley, Mary Lee Mason, Karen Reynoso, Luana Stoltenberg and Cynthia Carney.

Thank you Brian Barkley and Carri Taylor, Life After Abortion producers, for your efforts to show the need for abortion healing to society!

Abortion Recovery InterNational would like to congratulate Life After Abortion for their receiving of the Best Documentary 2010 ~ International Christian Visual Media Award.

Abortion Recovery Awareness Month (ARAM)

ARAM was established in 2005 as a way to encourage and extend healing opportunities to individuals and families hurting from an abortion experience.

During the month of April, ARIN affiliates and advocates enlighten society by reaching out to others in their community through many different venues. An Abortion Recovery Awareness Calendar for the month of April is established each year providing ideas and resources.

Abortion Recovery Awareness Month is secular- friendly. It is free of condemnation, judgment or negative connotations. It has no political agenda!

The ultimate goal is to share compassionate abortion recovery efforts with others and offer help, healing and hope!

To assist those wishing to promote Abortion Recovery Awareness Month, feel free to complete the Principles of Participation and review our line of Awareness Products to help to encourage healing.  For more details: here's our ARAM Brochure and ARAM Press Release

Although ARAM is not a political event, we have been honored to have the support of a few government officials who believe there is a great need for after abortion healing.  Please feel free to visit our website and take a sneak peak at the Proclamations and Resolutions from Governors Perry, Jindal and Pawlenty and Senators Crowe and Vitter.

If your city, state or church representative might be interested in signing a Proclamation... there is a sample designed especially for you.  Just click the Proclamation image to the right!
