NEW !! Abortion Recovery CARE Directory
|
Abortion Recovery InterNational announces the launch of our new website at www.AbortionRecovery.org.
This revised site, designed to reach those who are hurting from a past abortion, features a brand new CARE Directory with a Google-style map interface and convenient zip code search. With over 100 people a day looking for help in our CARE Directory, these new features are making it even easier for those hurting to get the care they need.
The new site also features 3 message boards for visitors to express how abortion has impacted their lives, how recovery has changed their lives and an online memorial for the unborn. We never anticipated the stories that are being posted to our site every single day. These messages continually remind us not to grow weary in helping those individuals and families that experience after abortion trauma.
Is your recovery program listed in our online directory? If so, please check your listing on our new site to make sure your information is correct. If your affiliation is not current for 2009, we encourage you to update it. At the end of April, affiliates who have not renewed their affiliation and updated their contact information may run the risk of being removed from our database.
Remember ARIN offers scholarships to those agencies that may not have the financial funds to affiliate with us. Your assistance to those hurting is paramount. Call us for details...

Are You On The Map?
|
In 2008, www.AbortionRecovery.org, received just under 40,000 visitors to our website. And hundreds more emails, phone calls and online messages. These were individuals and families looking for help, looking for hope after an abortion.
With our new map interface, it's easy to see that abortion recovery is flourishing across our nation - but we can also see that there are places where help is hard to find. Please check our website to see if your recovery center/program is listed. Church clergy, is your church listed as a venue to help those suffering? Private therapists... is your practice listed?
If not, please consider joining our network of abortion recovery providers. We have six different levels of membership, so there is a place for everyone:
- Individual Partners
- Community Partners
- Global Partners
- Recovery Partners
- Professional Partners
- Counseling Partners
If your center/program isn't listed, people looking for help on our site won't know you're there. It's easy to join ARIN today.

CARE Teams Under Development
|
Abortion Recovery InterNational is developing CARE Teams (Compassionate Abortion Recovery Efforts) across our great nation. With test runs in North Carolina and California, we hope to have our CARE Teams spread like wild-fire.
CARE Teams will involve bringing together key people in your community... think Community Action Recovery Effort!
People that might be involved in a CARE Team: parents, students, rape counselor, clergy, school nurse, shelter representative, group leaders, drug and alcohol counselors, youth groups, professional therapist, life coach, grief specialist, etc.
We'll explain CARE Team Development and the goals of our ARIN CARE Teams at three upcoming conferences:
- Hope for Life Conference
in April, in Atlanta GA
- Abortion Recovery Leadership Symposium
in May, in Richmond, VA
- Heartbeat International Conference (ARIN Co-Sponsored)
in May in Richmond,VA
We'll hope you join us for a great Spring of training, networking and collaborating on behalf of those hurting from abortion. Click here for more conference information: Conferences

Spread the Word
|
Abortion Recovery InterNational welcomes Janet Trenda to our Leadership Team as Vice President of Educational Services. You can learn all about Janet by visiting the Leadership Team tab on our website. You may also read the bio and testimony of Cathy Foster, our Vice President of Outreach Services, as well as those of President Stacy Massey. Feel free to use the new ARIN websites as a resource! Contact your local churches,
women's shelters, professional therapists, high school and college
counselors, and civic organizations and tell them to link to www.AbortionRecovery.org. This great resource will save you the effort and expense of
developing a website for your program AND allow you to easily let
people know about your ministry. Also don't forget to download the
amazing ideas for Abortion Recovery Awareness Month. We have
affiliates all over the country participating in this world-wide
event. Put out a press release and tell your community that "the time has come to heal our nation"! Hope to see you at the ARIN Leadership Symposium in May.
God bless each of you and the lives that you touch on His behalf!
