Featured Feline: Tequila Rose
Tequila Rose was a lonely and hungry stray cat before she found her way to the Cedar Valley Humane Society. After we nursed her back to health it became obvious what a spunky and affectionate cat she is! She craves attention and is patiently waiting for a family to call her own. She would snuggle all day with you if she could! She also adores other cats and would get along great in any home.

Compatible Canine: Ellie

Celebrate Ambroja Photography's "Bully Month" in August by adding this sweet Pit Bull to your family and helping to battle the breed's bad rap. Ellie was a stray who came to us with the most submissive nature. She will curl up in your lap like a 3 lb. Chihuahua. She has also proven to be great with kids, and would love a good family to call her own!

Easy Way to Make a BIG Difference!
Become a member of a distinguished group of caring individuals who make smaller, more frequent donations to the Cedar Valley Humane Society by joining the Loyal Supporters Program.
For example, a $25 donation each month equals a $300 annual contribution. For many people, budgeting $25 each month is more affordable than a $300 lump sum donation.
As a Loyal Supporter, you can arrange to have your credit or debit card run once a month for whatever amount fits your budget. Or, as always, you can send us a check each month for that amount.
With the support of arranged monthly installments we are able to better serve the animals we take in on a continual basis and forecast our changing needs from month to month.
To join the program, please contact our Fundraising Coordinator.
Thank you to those who are already involved in our Loyal Supporters Program!

Volunteer Spotlight: Rhonda Farmer
Rhonda
Farmer has been a huge asset to the Cedar Valley Humane Society since she joined our volunteer program a few months ago. She helps out
at many different events and loves to talk to potential adopters. Rhonda adopted her beloved dog, Rya from us recently and has great insight into responsible pet ownership and training tips. She can always be counted on for a good laugh and we don't think Rhonda could meet anyone that she couldn't befriend almost instantly! Thank you for all of your hard work, Rhonda! If you want to volunteer, just ask us how! |

Happy Tail A Cedar Valley Humane Society Alum, Hunter wanted to share H IS happy tail:
"I know how to
get what I want-mainly because I wrinkle my forehead and look adorable. I know
how to work the system. I'm
very smart. I like to talk A LOT. If no one is paying attention to me, I make
special sound effects to get attention. I usually just sigh really loud or
grumble. I
do have just a few hobbies that I enjoy: sleeping by myself on
the love seat, cuddling with Mom and Dad in their bed (but let's be real, it's
MINE), playing with my red ball all the time, eating, running with Dad, and helping
Mom with the laundry by putting my slobbery red ball in the clean laundry
basket!"
Remember, YOU can send us your happy tail, too! |
