Product Update - Ford E-Series E-Z Bracket HD™ for Fender Mount Mirror Applications
In 2003 Rosco designed the industry's first fender mounted rearview mirror which transferred the loading of the mirror assembly off the thin sheet metal of the outer fender to the under hood OEM structure where strength was greatest. The creation of the "Z" bracket which fits neatly between the fender and the hood made installation "E-Z" and changed the industry to embrace attractive, breakaway, and simple to install fender mounted mirrors. The advancement led to the development of similar designs for GM 610 van and Ford F-Series chassis. As the E-Series Ford fender has evolved since 2003 so has the evolution of Rosco's E-Z Bracket™. With the introduction of lighter weight vehicle front ends, Rosco has continued to develop improvements to keep our mirrors stable. Starting July 2011, Rosco is pleased to introduce the new E-Z Bracket HD™ for 2008 MY Ford E-Series and up. The new E-Z Bracket HD™ is as the name suggests, a heavy duty design which incorporates extra strength gusseting, connection, and support points to the radiator structure under the hood. The new design reduces mirror vibration amplitude and resonance by up to 50%, and will be the new Rosco standard for all E-Series Ford fender applications moving forward. As in the original design in 2003, the outer appearance of the E-Z bracket HD™ continues to be the same high quality, powder coated, contour fitting die casting which customers have come to appreciate for the aesthetic, breakaway and durability benefits it provides. To achieve top performance of the new E-Z Bracket HD™ please pair this base with the new Rosco AccuStyle™ rearview, dual lens mirror system.
Product Update - AccuStyle™ Lightweight Design
Rosco developed the AccuStyle™ mirror system in 2005 as a complementing product to the industry standard EuroStyle™. Unlike the EuroStyle, the AccuStyle has a greater range of application for two point "loop" mounting, upright, or overhang mounts, and also adds a stylish outer shell proven to be more aerodynamic by Pratt & Whitney in wind tunnel testing. AccuStyle, in dual lens sizes 8" x 15", and 8" x 17", has been the go to mirror in the bus and truck industry since, and like all Rosco mirrors, is completely maintainable on an individual component basis. With a fully removable rear cover, it has access to all arm mounting clamps, electrical connectors, and other mirror components. Most recently, Rosco has updated the AccuStyle™ with a new lightweight, heavy duty structural core which reduced the mirror weight by more than one pound or 23%. This new mirror core is the structure to which the mirror arm and clamp attaches on one side, and the motors and lenses on the other side. The new core translates to added mirror stability and the reduction of vibration, and has led customers to report that the mirror outperforms all prior generations of AccuStyle™ or EuroStyle™ hands down. Rosco will ship the new lightweight AccuStyle™ mirror by request under the 815N series of part numbers. To achieve top performance of the new AccuStyle™ on Ford E-Series fender mount applications, please pair this mirror with the new E-Z Bracket HD™ mounting system.

Bruce W. Ebmeyer
President
Ebmeyer Charter
www.ebmeyercharter.com
As the President of Ebmeyer Charter and Tour in Apple Valley, CA, we invested in Dual-Vision™ cameras to be installed in all of our motor coaches. As we introduced this video device to our drivers, cleaners and other employees, we were naturally met with some resistance. They thought we would become "Big Brother" in the bus industry but after planning and deployment meetings, they were receptive to working with our company. It wasn't until we actually had to use the camera footage for proof of innocence that our entire staff fell in love with the system. Upon receiving any complaint, the first thing we do is review the Dual-Vision™ video and audio footage. The majority of the time we find our drivers not to be at fault. In the rare instance where we find driver actions can be improved, we use the footage as a foundation for training and opportunity to improve. As a result, the overall morale of the drivers has increased and the company has become more productive.
Last week we had an incident where a motor home side swiped our motor coach. The driver of the motor home called and stated that our bus driver was erratic and that we were to blame for the incident. After reviewing the camera footage, then burning a video of the occurrence and e-mailing the file to the motor home driver, he dropped all allegations and offered to repair our damages. Thank you Rosco Vision Systems and Dual-Vision™!

McKeesport, PA - Pennsylvania Coach Lines Mr. David Sunstein, President
"I initially purchased the Dual-Vision™ recorder through my insurance carrier for the obvious benefits offered such as continuous recording to help train drivers, to bring immediate attention to severe motion events such as hard braking and accidents, and to protect our company's bottom line in the event of false or erroneous claims. Ironically, we have found that in addition to all of the expected benefits of the product, and supporting features such as GPS mapping, routing and Geofencing, through the use of Dual-Vision™ we discovered that drivers often started their routes too early, or intentionally padded their work hours. This practice costs our company thousands of dollars a week in wages. Additionally, we were able to increase the productivity of our school buses by using them on additional routes instead of having them sitting idly on the side of the road. We were able to reduce fuel consumption and labor costs while at the same time increasing our productivity. What else could you ask for? Our consistent review of Dual-Vision's™ high quality continuous recordings, and storage of video footage cataloged by driver name in the enhanced playback and database management program DV-Pro™, saves us money and helps us to make drivers aware of our expectations for them to contribute to our company's productivity, market competitiveness, and bottom line. Tough economic challenges necessitate even tougher methods of leaning out operations. We feel we are on the cutting edge and leading our industry by using technologies like Dual-Vision™ to position our company for better economic times and future growth."
