| And like unto him was there no king before him,
that turned to the LORD,
Notwithstanding the LORD turned not from
the fierceness of his great wrath, 2 KI23:25a,26 |

Dear friend,
I feel impressed to share with you what Yvonne and I "see" coming for the future. The following are excerpts from a message she preached recently called The Last Revival. |
|
This is what the Lord says: I am going to bring disaster on this city and its people. My anger will be poured out on this place, and it will not be quenched. 2 CH 34: 24,25c
Jerusalem was sacked and burned in 586 BC; the people were taken captive into Babylon for seventy years of slavery. Solomon's Temple was stripped, looted and leveled; it was God's judgment on His people for hundreds of years of idolatry, child sacrifice and sodomy. It was the fulfillment of the prophets' warnings that God would take away what He had given them
No amount of repentance could thwart the coming judgment! |
On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames 1 PE 3:12b a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon RE 16: 17
Today we see the judgment of God falling on the world. The four horsemen, famine, disease, war and bad leadership have been riding since Adam ate the apple, we hear them getting closer. The world's sins today are no different than Israel's in 586 BC. Scheduled judgment is written in the word of God. It is part of His plan.
Jn12: 24 Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and die it abides alone, but if it die it brings forth much fruit. There is a theme resurrection life from Genesis to Revelation that unfolds in the final chapter of Revelations. Noah's world is judged by flood and he emerges to a new world; Egypt is destoyed by the ten plagues and Israel is delivered to the promised land; Sodom and Gomorrah are destroyed by fire from heaven and Lot begins a new life in a new land. We need not be afraid, we need to be bold and courageous for Him.The destruction of this world will be the germinating seed of a new heavens and new earth.
It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour;
it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:1 CO 15:42 |
In addition to current prophecies of judgment, there are prophecies of revival. We must ask is there scriptural precedent for revival to precede judgment? Yes in 2 Chronicles 34, 35 and 2 Kings 23, 24! Sixty years before the destruction of Israel King Josiah comes to the throne and enforces sweeping reformation. He oversees the greatest revival in Israel's history! God has given us scriptural precedent here in the Old Testament and again in the New Testament when Christ's and the apostles' revival precede the judgment and destruction of the second Temple in 70 AD. Before we see the fiery judgment of God fall on this earth we will experience a mighty outpouring of His Spirit, a final Harvest of souls!
The curtain is rising on the greatest revival in the history of the church! |
The king took his place of authority beside the pillar
and renewed the covenant in the Lord's presence 2KI 23:2
Revival as defined by Webster's dictionary "restoration of force, validity, or effect (as to a contract) reinstate a contract by keeping the terms" fits Josiah's actions in 2KI 23:2The king took his place of authority beside the pillar and renewed the covenant in the Lord's presence. Josiah's revival begins with repentance and cleansing of Solomon's temple of idol worship including infanticide and sexual immorality and it ends with repentance as the nation keeps the Passover celebrating their deliverance.
King Josiah, the high priest Hilkiah and the prophetess Huldah all play a part in Israel's final revival. Josiah begins by seeking the Lord when he is sixteen and then cleanses Solomon's Temple of the altars of idol worship erected there by apostate Israel. As the Temple is being repaired the High Priest Hilkiah discovers scrolls hidden to preserve the recorded Word of God from destruction. Hilkiah takes these scrolls, thought to be Deuteronomy 28, to Josiah and reads them. Josiah realizes the just judgment of God is due the nation and he rends his garments. Josiah then sends the Priest to the Prophetess Huldah for a word from the Lord. Huldah confirms that the wrath of God will be poured out upon Israel but the reformer King will be spared the sight.
And she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah 2CH34:23,24

No more counterfeit revivals!
This will not be a counterfeit revival. David Wilkerson writes, "Many so-called Holy-Ghost movements vanished quickly because they were man-centered - focusing on gifts, blessings, self-improvement, happiness. Dancing, laughing, roaring, barking or any other manifestation attributed to the Holy Ghost is all flesh. . . There is no true revival without great ingathering of lost souls! Moreover, all the graces and ministries of the Holy Ghost in our lives as believers have to do with the last harvest. "
Josiah's nation wide reformation and cleansing culminates in a great Passover feast. Exodus 12 describes the first Passover as the slaughter of a lamb that is eaten while the Israelites stand ready to flee Egypt. When the death angel kills all the first born Egyptians he passes over the homes smeared with the lamb's blood. The night Jesus was crucified He died at the moment the lambs were being slaughtered for Passover - He is our Passover Lamb slaughtered for the wrath of God to passover us who believe. This Last Revival will begin at the Cross and end at the Cross. There is no deeper revelation, no greater theology as evidence by His words to the Church at Ephesus RE 2: 4 "thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works." Moreover Christ is the Prophet, Priest and King prefigured by Josiah, Hilkiah and Huldah leading saints and sinners to cleanse the temple of their hearts in The Last Revival before judgment.
And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept 2CH35:18

Today Yvonne and I challenge you to cry out for revival. We have been preparing for our entire lives through prayer and fasting, I believe it is now upon us. As we hear the judgment of God getting closer and closer to the earth we also hear the sound of an abundance of rain, a rushing mighty wind, a revival that will be second to none. Stand with us in prayer, fasting and sacrificial giving as we declare His cross and lead souls to Christ.
